What do the following have in common with the HHEW Group? Visa, Caterpillar, Princeton, Penn, Howard University, Sigma Pi Phi, 100 Black Men of America, the California Black of Commerce, the Boy Scouts of America, the National Newspaper Publishers Association, the TALO Leadership Theory, the California Teachers Association, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority? Members of the HHEW Group are directly affiliated with these and other outstanding entities.
The 12th annual HHEW Leaders Conference & Retreat is scheduled for August in Las Vegas, Nevada. The HHEW Group is an influential African-American think tank that was formed in 2001. We are based in one of the largest cities in Northern California (Stockton). Since 2004, we have held an annual summer (inter)national conference & retreat in Las Vegas that has attracted attendees and participants from diverse fields and backgrounds. (Please peruse this website, our speakers bureau and our consultancy service.)
The theme for our upcoming 2015 conference & retreat fully embraces your mission. It is: “Face Black, Face Forward: Using social media as a leadership tool.” I am asking you to: (1) send one of your representatives to our conference & retreat to actively interact and network with our group of 50-60 members expected to attend, (2) cover/sponsor the registration fee ($99) for one local high school or college student to attend, (3) send us profiles of 1-2 prominent company leaders of African descent that we can list and celebrate in our program, (4) contribute handouts, materials or products that our members will benefit from, and (5) be a corporate sponsor for the conference & retreat ($1,200, $2,000, $3,000 and $5,000 levels).
The $1,200 level would include your representative's registration fee ($209) and being listed in the conference program. The $2,000 level would include your representative's registration fee, the student's fee, being listed in the conference program, and being listed on our website thru 2015. The $3,000 level would include your representative's registration fee, the student's fee, being listed in the conference program, being listed on our website thru 2015 and 3-months free advertising on any two of our media outlets (Decision Makers). The $5,000 level would include your representative's registration fee, the student's fee, partial fees for one international traveler, being listed in the conference program, being listed on our website thru 2015, 6-months free advertising on any two of our media outlets (Decision Makers), and $1,000 towards the HHEW Colleges Project.
We look forward to hearing back from you ideally by December 15. We will have all details finalized by February 2. Please email me at: [email protected]. We are excited about networking with your representative and moving forward with you.
